2023 BMW 5 Series Trims and Performance

For 2023, Ohio shoppers can choose from four different trims.

• The 2023 BMW 530i and 530i xDrive use a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine producing 248 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. It's available with either rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.
• The BMW 530e and 530e xDrive plug-in hybrid use rear-wheel and all-wheel drive, respectively. Both versions get power from a turbocharged four-cylinder engine and electric motor, producing 288 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque.
• The BMW 540i and 540i xDrive use a turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine producing 335 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque.
• The BMW M550i xDrive uses all-wheel drive and a twin-turbo V8 to achieve a zero to 60 mph time in as little as 3.6 seconds. It makes 523 horsepower and 553 pound-feet of torque.
